Quality and Environment

The Grimaldi Group was the first Italian shipping company to have obtained the quality certification ISO 9001 and the environmental certification ISO 14001.The conformity with UNI EN ISO 9001:2015 regulations and the integration of the management system with the requirements of ISO 14001:2015, have further consolidated the systems adopted by the Group with regards to Quality and Environment.
The Environment and Quality Policy is the main document of the integrated system and is disseminated and pursued by all personnel.Moreover, in February 2012, the Grimaldi Group has been awarded the full Authorised Economic Operator (AEO-F) status. The status of the Authorised Economic Operator applies to all economic operators and their business partners playing a role in the international supply chain, i.e. producers, exporters, forwarders, warehouse keepers, customs agents, carriers, importers who are involved in activities covered by the relevant customs legislation and are eligible in terms of reliability and security in the supply chain.

The high quality services offered by the Grimaldi Group is being regularly awarded by its international clientele such as General Motors, FCA, Ford, Honda and Land Rover.
